Worktime management

One of the three main pillars of the Tracknav system, helping you to manage worktime of your employes more effectively

Electronic recording of working hours of workers and mobile workers.

Where?

To ensure the recording of work-hours when the worker is present on more work sites and travels between them, taking into account and record the traveling time.

To record the working hours of drivers, who work in one or more countries. Calculation of per diems based on the actual time spent in each country.

How?

Information on individual activities of the employee can be tracked by logging in at various different units, both stationary in the office and mobile in vehicles or work machines. Driver activity data recorded with a digital tachograph may also be used.

The collection of information on the employee’s activity at all locations where the employee worked and the vehicles he drove (also as a passenger), in one place, enables a detailed calculation and display of the employee’s activities.

Why?

In order to reduce the possibility of errors in the transfer from paper to electronic form,
to reduce the possibility of duplication – the simultaneous work of a worker in two locations.

To allow for different pay according to the difficulty of the work, to prepare a calculation of all work performed in an automated manner.

Keeping an overview of spent hours at the individual customer

Where?

In the case of service activity, when workers work at different sites and we want to record the time spent at each site.

When an employee works for several different clients at different locations and the work for specific client can be identified based on location.

In the case of machine operators on construction sites; in addition to the working hours of the worker, the machine hours of the machine may also be recorded.

How?

In addition to identifying the worker and recording his activities, the work site or client can be identified based on location.

With the help of location data and additional confirmations from the employee, the employee’s daily activities are divided into the corresponding cost centers – work sites or customers.

Why?

In order to automate the recording of working hours by work sites, that the review of the work done on the work sites is instantly available – daily, to reduce the possibility of errors in the transfer of data from paper to electronic form, that the preparation of billing proposals is possible to automate.

Display of the already spent driving time and the prediction of available driving and working time for drivers.

Where?

Drivers of vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes must comply with legal restrictions on the length of the working day, driving time, prescribed intermediate breaks, and the minimum daily rest between two working days. The rules differ in cases of a crew of one or two drivers.

How?

The legally prescribed device for recording driver activities and recording working hours is an electronic tachograph installed in the vehicle.

With the transfer of tachograph data to the office, the daily activities of drivers also become visible to planners and dispatchers. Information is available in real-time on the already used available working time and driving time, as well as the estimated time of the next break needed.

Based on the data, predictions for the remaining driving time in the day are calculated.

Why?

To simplfy complying with the statutory limits on the driver’s working time.

That planners have instant information about the still available driving time of drivers and can use it in further transport planning.

The available driving time of the driver is one of the main data influencing the calculation of the ETA (estimated times of arrival at destinations).

Advantages

The whole system is built and developed “in-house”, whith customization possibility. With our own, extensive knowhow and experiance we can help you to improve you the way you operate.
